Refund Policy

Generally, payments are non-refundable with the following exceptions:

  1. Persons on the waiting list who request a refund of their deposit will receive a refund.
  2. If the trip is cancelled all money is refunded in full.
  3. Persons who cancel after paying in full will get their money back less the deposit if there is someone to take their spot.
  4. If upon cancellation there is no replacement there is no refund unless lodging or other costs are reduced by the cancellation in which case the Sierra Club will give a partial refund equal to the reduced costs.  
     

Note:  The Sierra Club will allow you to assign your spot on the trip to another person.  In other words, you can get a full refund if you can find someone who will pay you what you paid for the trip.
